Top knots

Know idea if I am doing this correctly or in the right place but here goes.....
My name is Mary and I am Mum to Leo a 19 month Lhasa Apso and Peps a 7 month old Shih Tzu that we got as a rescue about two months ago.....
Peps has a lovely coat but I am not winning the battle to make her face look as lovely as it should.....I can't get a top knot to stay in and to be honest she looks like I used to at 25 after a hard night on the tiles......She is going to the groomers next week and I think I am going to have to give in and have her face cut so we can see her eyes.......why can't I make the top knots stay in.....

and welcome! I am the wrong person to ask when it comes to grooming! I can't do my own hair! However if you wait a little people will be here in no time with lots of helpful advice!

Its hard and depends on the length of the hair, are you using the correct bands ?? also try using a few bands or even plait it.

You must not have the bands too tight as they will feel them and try their best to rub them out.

I use two band and a scrunchy in Louie's and like Fluff says try not to put it too tight

Hattie never trys to rub hers out but Louie is a horror
